Caking Sisters, as the name suggests, is a family business owned by two sisters Melissa and
Olivia with a little help from their Mum, Deb, based in Pontypool, South Wales, specialising in

all things cake!!
 

Our journey began as children learning how to bake with our Grandma in her kitchen and as a
teenager, Olivia took this love of baking to the next level baking cakes and treats for her friends
and teachers at school. After deciding she would like to follow this a career and finding no
schools or colleges offering courses, our Dad converted the front room into a second kitchen
where she spent countless hours experimenting, learning and practicing new techniques
making cakes for family and friends.

 

In 2017 after several years away working in the
entertainment industry Melissa returned home and began helping out with the ever expanding
order book, putting her artistic and creative flair to good use and so expanding into the world

of wedding cakes, Caking Sisters was born !!

With our passion for creating beautiful and delicious cakes driving everything we did we needed
to expand and hand back Mum and Dads front room! We were able to open our shop in Mamhilad
in 2019 and with Olivia, the baker and Melissa, the creator we are a team dedicated to making
your special day even more memorable with our cake designs.

 

We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the use of high-quality ingredients to ensure

that every cake is a work of art.
 

 We believe in adding a touch of sweetness to your celebrations and creating cakes

that not only look stunning but also taste divine.
